上面網友的答案都有問題：Lots of friends were supporting them --- 沒翻譯 ‘他們身邊’ 這意思；原文沒有界定時式, 動詞不宜用過去式。They have many helps from their friendship --- 錯得很。They have many friends aside to help them --- aside 是錯的, 可以用 around 或 beside (They have many friends beside them to offer help)。

They have many friends around them to help them --- 太多 them, 應刪除around之後的them字。There are loads of people backing up for them --- 應該是 backing them up；people不一定是朋友。They have a lot of close friends will assist them --- 原文沒說 ‘好朋友’, 不必加上close字；句子文法有誤, 可改為 They have a lot of friends to assist them。

They have lots of friends to give a hand for them.

"They have a lot of friends who support them."




* do not necessarily have to include "身邊" coz in English, by saying the sentence above, the reader would be able to understand that the friends = 身邊朋友
