In a situation of danger, a part of our autonomic nervous system called "Sympathetic system" is stimulated.
The sympathetic system produces a special neurotransmitter: adrenalin, which is responsible for changes to your blood circulation, digestive system, sense organs, and the rest of your body. These changes prepare the body for a fight or for flight.
Here's a summary of the effects of the sympathetic nervous system:

Hope this helps, good luck :-)

Your body produces more adrenaline, your muscles prepare to contract more quickly in preparation for a sudden dash away from danger, blood vessels dilate to supply your body with the blood and extra oxygen it needs and your pupils will also dilate slightly.

Your heart rate goes up, your breath quickens and you will start to sweat. Your hair also stands on end because it's part of the reflex your body makes while preparing your muscles for quicker contraction.

Blood will be directed away from non-vital organs like the uterus and ovaries (for women), and also away from your gut. This is to make sure your brain and muscles get the maximum amount of blood needed to cope with the situation. Your brain will be thinking alot, and those muscles will be contracting like mad.

1. The adranaline produced alerts all the muscles and neurons.
2. Major part of the oxygen and blood will be directed to your muscles.
3. to satisfy the high oxygen and blood needs, heart beat rate and respiration rate will increase.
4. the reflex arc will take control of our movements.
5. The pitutary gland will try to keep the nervous system as calm as possible.
6. All this activities will increase body temperature, so to cool down the body, the will be a higher rate of sweating.
7. If enough oxygen is not supplied to the musscles then anaerobic respiration will be started which produces lactic acid in the body(this is the reason for the pain in your muscles when you run or cycle a lot)
