Typhoon/Black Rainstorm
Classes in the morning (9:00am-12:00noon), afternoon (2:00pm-5:00pm) or evening(6:30pm-9:00pm) will be cancelled if :-
(a) typhoon signal no.8 or above or black rain signal remain hoisted at, or
(b) the HK Observatory announces typhoon no. 8 or black rain signal will be hoisted at/after,
the following time : 6:00am, 11:00am and 4:00pm respectively.
Participants will be notified when the class will be made up.

Applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. HKPC reserves the right to make changes as appropriate regarding the arrangements of course instructions, contents, timetables or venues. Enrolled applicants will fully be refunded in case of cancellation or termination.

Nature and Objectives
The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) organized tenth rounds of the “Diploma Program in Logistics and Shipping Operations” from January 2003 to November 2005, and enrolled some 300 participants. Now this program has been revised and re-packaged under the new title of “Professional Diploma in Logistics and Shipping Operations” to provide updated relevant knowledge to shippers, traders and those who are employed by “third-party logistics (3PL) providers”. This is the fourth intake aims to improve junior-to middle ranking executives’ knowledge in various logistics and shipping operations areas and to help their companies to seize the opportunities arising from Hong Kong as to one of the world’s important logistics hubs.

Minimum Entry Requirements
• 5 passes in HKCEE (including English) plus 3 years’ relevant working experience; or
• A-level/Post-secondary qualification holders who graduated from a tertiary education institutes with less than 3 years’ working experience may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
• Mature applicants, with Form 5 standard and possess at least 5 years of related working experiences by the date of admission and be able to demonstrate aptitude and suitability for the program, will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
