None of the above. Allegro does not mean fast. Allegro (Italian) comes from the word Allegria, which means happy and bright. Allegro in music means a happy and bright character, which implies a fairly quick tempo.
Happy and bright implies a faster tempo. That doesn't mean that Allegro equals to fast. Fast could imply many different characters, such as agitation, precipitation, etc..
The word for fast in Italian is Presto.
