Adv: low cost, reaching large sample size
Disadv: provide less detail on behaviour, attitudes and motivation; result may get repeated which gives high reliabilty

Qualitative Research - showing individual's behaviour, attitude; asking why , how Questions
Adv: more in-depth, can address problem with reliability
Disadv: expensive, time consuming
