Conditional sentences的中文名是甚麼???
WHY TYPE TWO(SECOND OR UNREAL CONDITIONAL)要............
如:
If I were you,I would make an appointment to see the doctor.
WHY NOT IS
If I was you,I would make an appointment to see the doctor.
That's all my Question!!!

conditional sentences中文係....條件句
type II 係 unreal conditional....
所以if sentence 個part係用past tense....
'am' 既 past tense 在modern english 黎講係 were
但係traditional english 情況下...was 都可以算是正確的...
所以嚴格黎講...兩句都岩

If I were you,....呢句係因為"I"跟本就無可能成為"you", 係呢D unlikely happen ge情況下, 我地係需要用"were", 呢樣野係規定左...
總之If conditional tense中要用past tense, singular 的 pronouns如he, she, it, I 都要用"were"..
eg: If it were not sick, it would not die.
If she/he/I were the president, she/he/I would not sign the treaty.
