USB Memory Card Reader Problem

I have a 4-slot USB memory card reader. There is one slot for the SD mini flash, and I have a 128mb and a 1gb flash card. When I plug the 128mb flash into the slot, the card reader's light turns on, and the data can be read. When I plug the 1gb card into the slot, the light turns off and it freezes my computer. Does anybody know why?

The firmware of your card reader might be too old which won't support 1GB or larger card. Try to borrow another 1GB card and try it, if it work, then is you 1GB card's problem. If it doesen't work, buy a newer card reader. Newer card reader should support new SDHC and other new products.

會唔會係你個card reader唔support 1gb?
