you could go on to websites are just go out more to see people in youth centre or something like that..

ask your friends out shopping with you or whatever you like with you or ask them to let you know some of their friends...

easiest to do is to go and do volunteer job... which would always help you to gain more friendship through the activities you do and know the organisation people... that's what i did to expand my friendship circle...
