1. look for = find = 找尋
2. The court prosecuted the criminal for robbery. 法庭起訴個罪犯偷竊.
今次個for係跟住個prosecute 既, 係要死記.
當然, 你都可以話prosecute the man for ...

有時d prep. 唔係跟verb gei.
例如,
It is interesting to learn English for you.
for you 係解"對你黎講"

其實d prep 無可能記得哂ga, 只係憑睇newspaper, magazine etc 既經驗去累積ga
