話說回來，lots of和a lot of有甚麼分別？其實它們的用法與意思是沒有分別的，只是lots of比a lot of較隨便，多用於口話，但也有用於並不太嚴緊的書寫。現引”征服英語”一篇，以供參考

A lot of （ 很 多 ） 可 不 可 以 用 來 形 容 songs （ 歌 曲 ） ， 例 如 I sang a lot of songs （ 我 唱 了 很 多 首 歌 ） ？





複 數 形 式 名 詞 和 不 可 數 名 詞 （ uncountable noun ） ， 一 般 都 可 以 用 a lot of 以 言 其 多 ， songs 並 不 例 外 ， 例 如 ： （ 1 ） There are a lot of songs about love, especially unrequited love （ 說 愛 情 的 歌 很 多 ， 特 別 是 說 單 戀 之 情 ） 。 （ 2 ） We had a lot of fun at the party （ 我 們 在 派 對 上 玩 得 很 開 心 ） 。
A lot of 和 many 或 much 同 義 ， 但 語 氣 比 較 隨 便 。 Lots of 比 a lot of 語 氣 更 覺 隨 便 ， 此 外 就 沒 有 分 別 ； 和 不 可 數 名 詞 連 用 ， 仍 然 是 配 單 數 形 式 動 詞 ， 例 如 ： Lots of （ 或 A lot of ） water was wasted （ 浪 費 了 很 多 水 ） 。

it is right ,because it is my teacher teach me!!!

舊式的英文文法裡，這兩個分別是用來形容countable和uncountable的
lots是countable，a lot是uncountable

但現在的文法日新月異，而且美式文法也漸漸普遍，兩個的用法可以說是一樣
都是放在noun前面，表示有很多的意思

The difference between a lot of and lots of is that the first one is more formal and mainly used in writing. Lots of is commonly used in speaking. However; both words have the same meaning.
