關於naughty 一詞

形容詞有多個兩個音節（如 beau-ti-ful 就有三個，hap-py 兩個，strong 一個），就會加 -er 成為 comparative （more beautiful, happier, stronger）。
naughty 有兩個音節（naugh-ty），所以應該用naughtier。
但有時我地都會見到單音節形容詞用 more，引 M. Swan Practical English Usage (p. 121, 2001) ：
１．如果形容詞唔係有 than 跟住，e.g. The road's getting more and more steep. (or steeper and steeper)
２．如果比較緊兩個描述，如：He's more stupid than lazy.
３．formal 情況 most 可以作 very 用，如：That's most kind of you.
４．Real, right, wrong 同 like，都唔會加 -er，如：She's more like her mother than her father.
