點寫marketing Objectives

For the overall marketing proposal, normally you should include the below items (better have table of content page):

- Background
- Objective
- Target audience/ stakeholders
- Marketing programs details.. (e.g. advertising plan, PR plan, sales promotion details etc, depends on the content in your proposal, but this is the body part)
- Proposed time line
- Estimated budget
- Evaluation
- Conclusion

For the objective part, be direct and quantify them, since this is better and easier for evaluating the whole proposal after execution, otherwise, just increase the sales is too generic and no point!
e.g. You want to increase the sales of the lipstick
you should write:
- To increase sales of the new lip stick by xx% (or $xxxx- quantify the amount) at the first quarter of year 2008 (also quantify the time).

Normally, the new product objectives include the following:
- Increase the sales (profit/ profit margin) (quantify it!)
- Increase the market share /penetration rate
- Induce customers' trial
- Increase and create awareness
- Increase positive feedback from customer
- Increase customer satisfaction etc.....
Remark: be specific in terms of the figures and time period of each objective!
