Study of translation and interpretation Question

I am a F.7 graduate and waiting for my AL result.I am quite interested in translation and want to study it in the University. But,I am afraid I would dislike it after I really study it in the University/Community College. What can I do to test myself if I really enjoy studying this subject?Any pre-course I can join?工聯會?Also,I'd like to ask if the career prospects as a interpreter is good in the future in Hong Kong(or in the world) and where is the best place for me to study this subject in HK.

Try to enrol in some of the short courses offered by the School of Continuing Education at Hong Kong Baptist University. Courses in this category include: 1. Translation of Business and Legal Documents (TLN1621); 2. Basic Skills in Oral Translation (TLN1701); and 3. Practical Knowledge and Skills of Translation (TLN1801). See if you like/enjoy studying any of them.

The B.A. (Hons) degree programme in Translation at Hong Kong Baptist University has a long and outstanding history (started in 1990) and has translated a number of commissioned works. The course seems to be interesting and rewarding.
