在一個早上,爸爸和他的兒女正討論買什麼菜,但是想了太久,不過他們仍努力地在想,想呀想,終於想到了買魚、肉、水果等.
跟著,爸爸來到了街市,驚呀地看著那張購物單,怎樣要買那麼多東西呢?而他兒子沒理會爸爸,前往海鮮檔買魚,而女兒則到水果檔買那新鮮的水果。買完了菜,他們再到市場買其他東西,但是爸爸的樣子顯得不耐傾似的,最後買了一些調味料、權頭和汽水等,然後前往款付,價錢總共$152.5, 爸爸呆住了,幸好沒有超出$200.
回到家裏, 爸爸立刻廚房煮菜,煮得滿頭大汗,汗珠慢慢地滴,過了一會兒,終於煮完了,兒女和媽媽瞪著那些燒焦的菜,樣子很生氣,爸爸在想,為什麼那麼失敗。
最後,他們到洒樓吃一頓飯,還給媽媽一個驚喜, 媽媽很高興,還流下眼流呢!真令人感動。
