Today have the legal study - civil procedure exam, some not really understand...

What is mean by "common fund"?

What is used to enforce the judgment each of the following assets?
i) A flat
ii) bank a/c money
iii) stock and shares with ABC company
iv) gold and jewelery
v) Antique furnitures

Many thanks cos I really confused on the difference between writ of fifa, garnarshee proceedings, charging order etc...????

legal cost cannot recover unless order is granted. Common fund is one kind of cost assesing method. It uses in all reasonable amount in respect of all reasonabl cost incurred. There are some unusal feature before the case. Usual use for the loss party who is legal aid and the cost is paid by legal aid fund (not paid by litigant). There are 80-90% of cost and disbursement can recover.

i) charging order (for land/property only)
ii) garnishee order (order inform garnishee the debts owned by the judgment debtor and not to pay for him; attend the court hearing)
iii) garnishee order
iv) writ of fi fa (bailiff sezied goods - sell the goods - proceed to pay for judgment creditor)
v) writ of fi fa
