Nah, desserts in Heaven probably wouldn't cut it. Now if the Bible said that every believer got free chocolate here on Earth, it might win a few outright atheists, because there's a point where you just go "Yeah, I know it's nonsense but hey, free chocolate!"

Quite how a religion that preaches moderation, chastity and/or marriage, and defines most bodily pleasures as sinful ever caught on in the first place is a bit of a mystery, but the scary thing is that it's still much more popular than Satanism, the creed of which is "Do what you will shall be the whole of the law". What do we conclude from this? Human beings don't like being happy, it unsettles them. So chocolate in small, sly, sinful doses is much more appealing than any heavenly chocolate could ever be. So ultimately, faith in Cacao, the bountiful chocolate god, seems doomed to fail...

Atheists are generally smarter than that.

umm you need to work on your logical thinking. atheists dont believe in what the bible said. if the Bible said there was chocolate in heaven, the atheists wouldnt believe it. if someone believes it, he is not an atheist. atheists do not versus christian. so your question should be Would there be fewer Satanists if somewhere in the Bible it said there was chocolate in heaven?
