Our seniors have lived through all kinds of difficult situations, and are immensely more experienced than young people.
A lot of times young people act out of impromptus because of callowness.
They often have trouble regulating their emotions.
Also, young people are prone to making mistakes trying out things that they have no experience in.
It is true that our seniors may not have the relevant experience either, but they have their world knowledge which young people lack.
A lot of us may feel tired of our seniors' endless lectures. However, they only do it to help and share the lessons they have learned. Therefore, I think young people should gratefully accept their advice.
