There's an new Telstra ad where a brightly coloured wrapped box gets passed around and unwrapped each time to reveal a new colour and a smaller box until the box is opened and a new big green wrapped box jumps out to start all over again, and the ad promotes a website: sharethegoodstuff.com.au
Does anyone know the song played in that add? It goes something like "you've got a nice...(something something)... oh holiday, and if you share with me the old times, we'll show that we can (??lie awake a lie???)" and then lots of "huh, huh huhha huh huh huh"s?
Does anyone know the name and artist of the song on the Telstra "share the good stuff" ad?

Hey I read this in a post on www.adtunes.com:"I received this advice in answer to a query to Telstra:

We had the music originally composed for the commercial by a company called Nylon. It remains untitled.

Also, Nylon Music did the tracks for McDonalds Inner Child & more recently Wrigley's Extras.

hi, definite i admire this music by utilising Jim Diamond, its my all time generic love music, he additionally sang hi Ho Silver, Wont assist you down, he has had numerous hits. would desire to have regular greater valuable could have been my answer. Im happy he hasn't been forgotten approximately.

I've searched too...lyric searches, variations on the lyrics. It sounds like a singer I know...the style of the voice. I hope it wasn't just made for the ad!!!!

Yaah i really like that song too... so i e-mailed the Telstra people and they don't know what it is either. Here is what they said:
