我剛剛完成學業, 在工作前想搞一間internet shop...有好多疑問.
1) 就算申請了網上商店服務, 每月around 180-200hkd, 我是否還要另外(向政府)註冊我的公司哩?
2) 如"http://www.dotcom.hk/index.php?option=com_content&task=section&id=21&Itemid=56"
你認為此網可行嗎?
3) 我可以在網站售賣名牌子i.e. Ikea; Sharp; or Sony的商品嗎? 會否被控?
4) Conclusion, 最主要我真係好擔心觸犯法例.

Hi Dave, 1. If your just started this online business, your don't need to apply official business license to run your business.
2. I only used .com company instead of .com.hk , my personally opinion is .com.hk not worldwide company. For Domain name company you should use www.Godaddy.com For hosting company, if you need a shopping cart system, I suggest www.LowPriceBuilder.com
3.I am not sure about that, I see many online shop sell name brands products so I guess it should be alright.
4. I think the best way is for you to incorporate into a corporation or a limited liability company, and you do your business inside this corporation or LLC to get insulation between business liability and personal assets. But this would require some up-front costs in setting it up, plus annual tax report. Also it would formalize your business and will require you to report your business income.
