phrasal verb : ( 短語動詞 )動詞之後與介詞或副詞連用 , 而表達多種不同意思的詞組 ,
如 : allow for , ask for , back away , bear out , bear up , blow out , blow up 等等 ,
fall behind , fall down , fall in , fall into , fall off , fall out , fall over , fall through ,,,,
都是 phrasal verb ,

For the explanation of phrasal verbs please refer to the answer of the netmale "professor" . But some are transitive and some are intransitive .
