Because of story books are 15%, literature books are 4%, so story books are more then literature book.(a) Let the total number of books are "y":
(y x 15%) - (y x 4%) = 77
(y X 0.15) - (y x 0.04)= 77
0.15y - 0.04y = 77
0.11y = 77
y = 700
So the total of number of books are 700.
(b) (126/700) x 100% = 18%
So the percentage of the science fiction books are 18%.

x(15% - 4%) = 77
x = 77/ 0.11
= 700

= 126 / 700 *100%
= 0.18 * 100%
= 18%
