Control of metabolic pathway...

It was said that a faulty phenylalanine hydroxylase would lead to a genetic disease named Phenylketonuria.

But as there's no tyrosine produced due to the faulty phenylalanine hydroxylase, does that mean one will suffer from albinism as well ?
(Since Tyrosine is needed to make melanin)

you are right! however, remember tyrosine is also present in food; therefore, even if the body cannot product tyrosine, there is still tyrosine in the body; usually albinism is not associated with pku
pku patients MAY have lighter complexion if they do not have sufficient tyrosine intake
