Factorize x - y - x^2 + 2xy - y^2

x - y - x^2 + 2xy - y^2
= (x - y) - (x^2 - 2xy + y^2)
= (x - y) - (x - y)^2
= (x - y)[1 - (x - y)]
= (x - y)(1 - x + y)
