The potato strip originally is called " in US; Potatoes, fried inthe French Manner" (Potato which explodes with the French way),(outstanding Buddha abdicates) the public figure by named ThomasJefferson to introduce US in 18 century's ends, he takes into US isthe potato strip cooking method, but is not the real potato strip, inorder to avoid the potato strip can passes Atlantic in the far Du seasand oceans in these 5-8 week-long journey to be moist and decayed tofall. He as soon as starts in Monticello this place to start to sellthe potato strip, receives the general affections, gradually, thepotato strip turns one of American supper main dish delicacies.

Interesting is, the potato strip unexpectedly is the potato piecepredecessor. According to 1853 "the interesting history", US'S GeorgeCrum was New York's chefs. Some visitors complained the potato striptoo has been thick, therefore Mr. Crum has made some thinner potatostrip, but still not high praise. Crumu continued to make some thinnerpotato strip, thinly has not missed to the means with the fork eats,if some people had to use the fork to try, certainly could make brokenthis potato strip. This defeat emaciated look, had not thoughteverybody likes eating. Afterwards, Crum joined this to the newemaciated look in the menu, was called " Saratoga chips"(Sha pulls tows fine piece). Then, he has opened own shop, monopolizedthis road "to make the bad potato strip".

French fries, originally called "Potatoes, fried in the French Manner" in America, was introduced to the New World by Thomas Jefferson in the late 18th Century. What he brought to America was the way to make fries, not the real thing, in order to avoid the wetting and rotting of food in a 5-8 week trip across the Atlantic Ocean. He started selling the food in a place called Monticello and it caught on across the country. Now it has become a key item in the main course of Americans' dinner.
Interestingly, totato chips actually stemed from French fries. According to Interesting History (1853), George Crum, an American chef in New York heard complaints about French fries being too thick. So he tried to make thinner fries but customers were not really pleased. Crum tried again to make it even thinner, but it was so thin that you could not take it up with a fork, and those who tried could only crack it. To his surprise, everybody loved this failed cuisine. As a result, Crum added it into his menu and called it Saratoga chips. He later opened his own restaurant and sold nothing but his messed up fries.
