reasons to have a laptop:
1. Much user-friendly: You can’t even bring your bulky desktop to school for presentations right? After finishing the project, just unplug the laptop and bring it back to school for every use! You don’t have to fight for a computer in the school computer room.
2. Privacy: There are personal information, schoolwork and private data inside a computer. It’s safe to keep all these in a personal laptop rather than a desktop shared by the whole family, or a public desktop used by all the students.
3. Using wifi to keep up with the world: with a laptop, one can surf on the internet whenever and whereever he want, provided that there’s wifi system,and now it’s available in coffee shops and fast food shop.We can get the news at anytime.

First of all, notebook is more convinient for carrying and to store. Notebook can be used forever as long as people are working well. Everyone knows that the speed of progress in today's information technolohy is beyond imagination. The capacity of computers' hardware has to get larger and larger as the software becomes more and more complex. I do mean that my computer has to always keep up with the latest models .
Besides, Hong Kong is a tendency towards over-emphasis on information technology eduation. A convinient notebook can let us study at everywhere like coffee shop, restaurant and in the classroom. It is much benefit to us far from the table-computer. All in all, we should own a notebook
