In my opinion, someone/the Supervisor from HR Department will ask for your explanation in details . If you only mention " careless mistakes / errors " or " neglectness " in Memo , it seems that he or she may be unsatisfied with your non-professional explanation . It is preferable to state the cause of overdraft giving any types of errors you made in the accounts entries and to make its correction after checking the bank statements .

In addition, I suggest that you can ask for other netmates' help by re-posting more information about the problem .
