Q: when a ballon uprising, find the force (F) applied to hold it.

The equation as below is correct or not? Please give a detailed explanation of the correct equation. Especially why the weight of hydrogen goes same direction (downward) as the force applied, not upward?

F + weight of hydrogen = upthrust = weight of air displaced
or,
F + volume x density of hydrogen = volume x density of air

題目中為什麼沒有考慮氣球材料的重量?
若氣球本身的重量不計,則第一個式是正確。
如下圖所示。
氣球會受到三個力。
浮力(B),氫氣的重量(mg)及拉氣球的力(F)
依圖所示,因三力成平衡所以
第一個式正確:
F + mg = B = 同體積空氣的重量
F + 氫氣的重量 = 浮力 = 同體積空氣的重量
而氫氣的重量 =體積 x 氫氣的密度 x 重力加速度
w = Vdg
所以
F + 體積 x 氫氣的密度 x 重力加速度 = 體積 x 空氣的密度 x 重力加速度
第二個式因為欠了重力加速度(g),所以不正確。

物體的重量是它受到地球(地心)的吸力,所以氫氣的重量方向是向下。
浮力 = 同體積空氣的重量(這個數量只是大小),所以這個力是向上。
