the use of theology and supernaturalism in hamlet?

how do biblical illusions used in the story of hamlet? like how do these biblical illusions help the audiences understand the story better? and also the character of the ghost...how does it help with understanding the story better? as we all know, there are numerous ambiguities in the play. so how do these two themes help us understand the story better or easier? thanks very much for helping...this is definitely urgent...!! thanks again!

My theory is that Hamlet is possessed by his father's ghost, and then Hamlet's mind becomes a kind of purgatory for the ghost. Hamlet struggles to regain the sovereignty of his reason, to be true to himself as a peace-loving student, but he can't reform his "old stock." His dilemma is whether "to be or not to be"..."so like the king that was and is the question of these wars."
