租金收入 = $5,000*12 = $60,000你自己所付既差餉 = $2,400 (假設既數)
不能追回的租金 = $0 (假設租客冇拖欠租金)
應評稅值 = $57,600
修葺及支出方面免稅額 = 20%
實際應評稅值 = $57,600*(1-20%) = $46,080
物業稅 = $46,080*16% = $7,372
不過，如果你係通常居住香港既居民，你可以透過「個人入息課稅」得到個人免稅額。假設你係單身人士，你既個人免稅額係$100,000。扣除完個人免稅額後，應課稅入息實額會係$0，即係你可以唔駛交稅。
咁樣，你既實際租金所得到的收入每月有：$57,600/12 = $4,800。
