"need" 的 passive voice

有很多 verb 本身可以用作「主動」及「被動」的意思，我們不需要用它們的 passive voice，例如 break, crack, cook, float, sink, need。

He breaks the window.
The window breaks.

I am cooking the vegetables.
The vegetables are cooking.

I need to do the job.
The job needs to be done.

所以 2 及 3 是不需要的。


後記 2

以下三句根本是不同意思，不能混為一談：
The job needs to be done. （某些人）需要做這工作
The job has to be done. （某些人）一定要做這工作
The job is to be done. （某些人）將會做這工作

1. The job needs to be done. 係正確同會比較自然.
不過, 個人認為, 一個死物之后用need似乎有少少怪, 所以我覺得改成咁會好少少:

The job has to be done/ The job is to be done.

2. The job is needed to do.

3. The job is needed to be done
--> is needed 同to be done 都係passive voice 來的
