I just can't believe it..................?

I can't believe all this Bush hating crap that is on here. I mean, President Bush did exactly what he should of done at the beginning and everyone (even Dems) was behind him. The country united for a little while. Then like always, when things aren't instantly taken care of everyone has to complain.

Why don't people remember that Clinton could have stopped playing with his cigars and used his intel to do something a long time ago?

You know, i would laugh if bush got fed up with all the liberals bullshit and just quit.

I can just imagine his resignation speech now...it would go something like this:

Normally, I start these things out by saying "My Fellow Americans."

Not doing it this time.

If the polls are any indication, I don't know who more than half of you are anymore. I do know something terrible has happened, and that you're really not
fellow Americans any longer.

I'll cut right to the chase here:

I quit.

Now before anyone gets all in a lather about me quitting to avoid impeachment, or to avoid prosecution or something, let me assure you: there's been no
breaking of laws or impeachable offenses in this office.

The reason I'm quitting is simple. I'm fed up with you people.

I'm fed up because you have no understanding of what's really going on in the world. Or of what's going on in this once-great nation of ours. And the majority of you are too damned lazy to do your homework and figure it out.

Let's start local.

You've been sold a bill of goods by politicians and the news media.

Polls show that the majority of you think the economy is in the tank. And that's despite record numbers of homeowners including record numbers of MINORITY
homeowners.

And while we're mentioning minorities, I'll point out that minority business ownership is at an all-time high. Our unemployment rate is as low as it ever was during the Clinton Administration.

I've mentioned all those things before, but it doesn't seem to have sunk in.

Despite the shock to our economy of 9/11, the stock market has rebounded to record levels and more Americans than ever are participating in these markets.

Meanwhile, all you can do is whine about gas prices, and most of you are too damn stupid to realize that gas prices are high because there's increased demand in other parts of the world, and because a small handful of noisy idiots are more worried about polar bears and beachfront property than your economic security.

We face real threats in the world. Don't give me this "blood for oil" thing. If I was trading blood for oil I would've already seized Iraq's oil fields and let the rest of the country go to hell.

And don't give me this 'Bush Lied People Died' crap either.

If I was the liar you morons take me for, I could've easily had chemical weapons planted in Iraq so they could be 'discovered.' Instead, I owned up to the fact that the intelligence was faulty.

Let me remind you that the rest of the world thought Saddam had the goods, same as me.

Let me also remind you that regime change in Iraq was official US policy before I came into office. Some guy named 'Clinton' established that policy. Bet you didn't know that, did you?

You idiots need to understand that we face a unique enemy.

Back during the cold war, there were two major competing political and economic models squaring off. We won that war, but we did so because fundamentally, the Communists wanted to survive, just as we do. We were simply able to outspend and out-tech them.

That's not the case this time.

The soldiers of our new enemy don't care if they survive. In fact, they want to die. That'd be fine, as long as they weren't also committed to taking as many of you with them as they can. But they are. They want to kill you. And the bastards are all over the globe.

You should be grateful that they haven't gotten any more of us here in the United States since September 11.

But you're not.

That's because you've got no idea how hard a small number of intelligence, military, law enforcement and homeland security people have worked to make sure of that.

When this whole mess started, I warned you that this would be a long and difficult fight.

I'm disappointed how many of you people think a long and difficult fight amounts to a single season of 'Survivor'.

Instead, you've grown impatient.

You're incapable of seeing things through the long lens of history, the way our enemies do.

You think that wars should last a few months, a few years, tops.

Making matters worse, you actively support those who help the enemy. Every time you buy the New York Times, every time you send a donation to a
cut-and-run Democrat's political campaign.

Well, dammit, you might just as well Fedex a grenade launcher to a Jihadist. It amounts to the same thing.

In this day and age, it's easy enough to find the truth. It's all over the Internet. It just isn't on the pages of the New York Times or on NBC News.

But even if it were, I doubt you'd be any smarter. Most of you would rather watch American Idol.

I could say more about your expectations that the government will always be there to bail you out, even if you're too stupid to leave a city that's below sea level and has a hurricane approaching.

I could say more about your insane belief that government, not your own wallet, is where the money comes from. But I've come to the conclusion that were I to do so, it would sail right over your heads.

So I quit. I' m going back to Crawford.

I've got an energy-efficient house down there (Al Gore could only dream) and the capability to be fully self-sufficient. No one ever heard of Crawford before I got elected, and as soon as I'm done here pretty much no one will ever hear of it again.

Maybe I'll be lucky enough to die of old age before the last pillars of America fall.

Oh, and by the way, Cheney's quitting too.

That means Pelosi is your new President.

You asked for it.

Watch what she does carefully, because I still have a glimmer of hope that there're just enough of you remaining who are smart enough to turn this thing around in 2008.

So that's it. God bless what's left of America.

Some of you know what I mean.

The rest of you, * off.

People were behind Bush when we were retaliating for the attacks on September 11. I wouldn't say that all Americans were united in liking Bush or believing he is a good leader so much as Americans were united in standing up for ourselves against those who attacked us. Bush took advantage of this unity and bipartisanship and again divided the country. When he decided to invade and occupy Iraq people began to wake up and realize what an inept and selfish leader he is, and of course money talks so when he started throwing billions of dollars out the window people started to become just a tad bit unhappy. It's good to see that more and more people are becoming united once again- this time we're united in realizing that Bush is not taking this country in the right direction and it is time to do something about it!

I do not understand this myself.
Only in America can you stand on the street corner and speak against your country's leaders. In other countries you would be taken to a pubic square and shot or hanged.
I do not stand behind Bush on some subject matter, but He is President. I also believe he is doing all he can to insure this country's safety. Since he is President I will support him and pray for him.

Don't you dare compare bill Clinton and what he did to this stupid creep we have now at least Clinton did not kill almost 4,000 of are own people and never gave it a second thought all he Care's about is were can he get more of the young people to get killed in this war that Bush lied about from the beginning, wake up and smell the stink coming from are white house.

Certainly you have no grasp of the current situation. Of course everyone was behind the initial war - in Afghanistan! Remember that? Even Democrats still want bin Laden brought to justice, but Bush's focus is not on attacking the people that attacked us first, instead, he shifted his focus on other things. What an injustice to the people who lost their lives and the families of 9/11.

Can you even explain why we attacked Iraq? I'm sure you are aware that Colin Powell has admitted that the initial intelligence that led us to war were false. So now we bring democracy to a country by force. Hardly the democratic thing to do.

I'm sure you are also fully aware of the propensity of the President to appoint people who are friends, campaign contributors and business partners to high level appointments in the government, not based on merit or experience, but rather loyalty.

Lets continue with promising to lower government spending and instead allowing record deficits and passing tax cuts while our country is at war.

And failing to provide seniors with social security, veterans with the most basic of services, and children with bare-minimum education.

Perhaps Clinton could have done more to stem al Qaida, but it wasn't until Bush's administration that bin Laden was no longer an ally being trained and funded by the CIA.

You have seriously got to read a little bit.

The sad truth is that the country was never united after 911. The Democrats didn't even need to stick their finger in the air to determine which way the wind was blowing. So they did what they usually do when faced with an obstacle (lie) and waited for the dust to settle a bit.

Then it was back to business as usual... bashing President Bush.

i disagree with a lot of GWB's choices, but he isn't totally to blame for all of the world's problems.

while i think many of his war/foreign policy decisions have been ill-advised - you can't argue with the current strength of the US economy. the markets are at all-time highs, unemployment is as low as its ever been, home ownership is at an all-time high.

it sucks to pay so much for gas - but NO President has any say over gas prices. if anyone does - it would be Congress, which is controlled by the democrats, i believe.

i don't agree with his immigration reform -- i hate amnesty and that is all his guest worker programs amount to.

Your logic seems to fall apart as soon as you say "when things aren't instantly taken are of..." That wasn't the problem, it never was the problem. What "things" are you referring to for instance?

Bush did do the right thing in the beginning. He went after Al Queda in Afghanistan, their home base. But instead of focusing all of our attention there, he then decided to attack Iraq. By his own admission, Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11. Al Queda was not in Iraq, also by his own admission. All the reasons he gave for going into Iraq turned out to be bogus. And to top it off, now Al Queda is operating in Iraq, where they now have a rather big foothold thanks to our invasion and poor planning for the aftermath of the invasion. Over four years later we are now in a quagmire that the The Decider owns lock stock and barrel. Congress gave him the power to make those decisions and decide he did.

What Clinton did with the intel he had was adopt a policy of containment with Iraq. When Bush got into Iraq he found that the containment policy had obviously been working. Reach back to Clinton if you must, but Bush's bad decision making and lack of planning cannot be blamed on Bill Clinton. I don't hate President Bush, but I do have a lot of contempt for him in light of his arrogance and stubbornness in pursuing a war policy that has produced nothing but failed benchmarks for us in this war. Now we are truly stuck. It is true that if we leave Iraq completely and suddenly we will leave behind a country who will then pour into the streets murdering each other in full out civil war. Not to mention that Al Queda and Iran are chomping at the bit to get control of Iraq. Right now we are policing that civil war and barely keeping it under control as it is. This war has become unbelievably complicated and there are no simple answers. The truth is that most of us do lay the blame for this at the door of The Decider, after all, he has told us many times he will make these decisions because it is his responsibility. So in light of the mess that has been created in Iraq, are we now supposed to NOT blame him for his responsibility because his efforts have not produced positive results? Does he only get the credit for making these decisions if they work out to our advantage or should he be held responsible for his own decisions no matter how they turn out? I think you know the answer to both of those questions.

bush is the only leader in recorded history that divided his own country during a time of war.

bush will forever be remembered as the - Great Divider.

yes - we were united after 9-11

bush did NOT do "exactly" what he should have done.

he was NOT honest about Iraq.

bush and his friends used 9-11 for there own political ends.

when Clinton was in office the republican congress fought him on the best way to fight terrorism.. thus, nothing got done.

why don't you remember that the republicans had control of the White House and Congress before 9-11. and what did they do.. Nothing.

I cant believe that the best you can do is bring up a President that was in office over six years ago and before 9-11.

bush will get credit for all he has done during his presidency,
you won't be able to blame the president that came before him ! nice try.

Because the angel Gabriel advised me that Jimmy Carter will emerge as the Antichrist aka Dajjal (eighth King in Rev. 17) and he'll serve an extra time period in workplace after the loss of life of Obama (seventh king). The angel Gabriel advised me in Aug. 1973 while i used to be in Phillipsbrug, Montana that Jimmy Carter will emerge as the Anti-Christ, and that he's going to difference his identify, and divorce his spouse! Obama goes to die first after which the Anti-Christ aka Dajjal who used to be one of the vital earlier 7 Presidents will take his location! Rev. 17:10 And there are seven kings: 5 are fallen, and one is, [and] the opposite isn't but come; and while he cometh, he need to keep a brief area. All 7 kings have been all alive till the loss of life of Ronald Reagan June five, 2004 while George W. Bush used to be in workplace ; one million. Gerald Ford two. Jimmy Carter three. Ronald Reagan four. George H. W. Bush five. Bill Clinton 6. George W. Bush.... is spoken of within the gift disturbing (and one is) due to the fact that till Reagan died (June five, 2004) all 7 have been alive! 7. Barack Obama.......and one is but to return! He will die a couple of days after he increases taxes! Obama could also be in Dan. eleven:20 Then shall rise up in his property a raiser of taxes [in] the honor of the dominion: however inside few days he will be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in struggle. Rev. 17:eleven And the beast that used to be, and isn't, even he's the 8th, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

When Bush sent troops to the Middle East to fight terrorism, it was a great endeavor. When he sent more to try to forcefully implant a democracy in the Middle East, it was a foolish and futile mistake. When he ignored the voices of the ones he leads and refused to pull out, it was basically ASKING for people to hate him.
