Ted's Enligish Language examinnation score is half of his mathematics examination score.If the sum of the scores of the two examinations is 120 marks, what is his score in mathematics examination?

1/2m+m=120
3/2m=120
3m=240
m=80
His score in mathematics examination is 80 marks.

Maths Marks= 120/3*2
=80

Eng Marks= 120/3
=40

Let M be his score in mathematics examination
M/2+M=120
3/2M=120
3M=2(120)
M=80
His score in mathematics examination is 80 mark.

then his Enligish Language examinnation scoreis 1/2X
So, X+1/2X=120
1.5X=120
X=80
his mathematics examination score is 80
