You can take the preparation courses @ HKU SPACE, which I think is enough for passing the exams.

Also, it should be HKICS (The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries) not HKIC!!

There are total 8 papers, but your degree is not quite relevant to the com sec field, so I am not sure if you can get any papers exempted. Even you have passed all the papers, u still need 3 yrs (full time degreeholder) or 6 yrs (part time degreeholder) of com sec experience in order to be a qualified company secretary. With law or accounting qualification is an advantage.

Change to another field with no experience, salary must be low. Will you accept a $8000 job?? Can this afford your living and your family??? Don't expect the pay is high. The starting salary is just around $8000 for a company secretarial assistant in a small CPA firm, or $10,000 in a listed company.

Do what you want to do.

Forget the past, and face the coming future. Walk and reach your goal.

Age is not a problem for doing anything.
