Danish is the offical language in Denmark. It's a good mix of High German, Old English and Scandanavian dialects. Depending on where in Denmark you are the pronouncations are different - good example is Danish spoken in Copenhagen (if you know German you'd have a better chance of catching words) and Danish spoken in Jutland (very hard to understand even if you know German).
Danish doesn't look or sound like French at all, except French loan words that are still pronounced the French way. Eg. 'station'

那種語言難學嗎?Yes I found Danish hard, I haven't been to formal classes but just by listening everyday. They don't pronounce alot of sounds that are written out and they slur the sentences a lot. One word can be joined up to the next so it sounds like something else.
