Ebay (item not receive) paid through paypal?

Hi, I have bought a laptop on ebay and paid 815 GBP throgh paypal a month ago but item still not received. Contacted seller, he said he has sent and it is the fault of post office and he will try refund but still no result. I have claimed it on paypal. Is there any chance that I get my money back? Will it be full or just $ 200?

I really appreciate...Initially I went to report ebay but they directed me to paypal as they said u have paid through paypal so they will look for this matter...I have feedback of 34 all positive and seller has just one (positive). paypal took money from my bank account not from credit card so i dont think my bank will provide any help. The seller has not provided any proof said that he will get a refund from local post office but not replying and informing me now about the process..I tried his phone no but it is wrong, I requested his information but he is not willing to provide anything..If i get his address should I go to court?? or there are others way??? Thanks again for sharing..waiting for more advice..

Go through ebay resolution system. I paid for and received item not as described. Seller agreed to refund if I sent back item. I did, he didn't. I saved all the correspondence and sent it to ebay. That is, his agreement to refund money. They returned my money less a 12.00 US deductible. Now, this was a few years ago, and things may have changed, but I don't know. Contact ebay immediately, because some things have time limitations, and save all documentation.

Report the seller to eBay on the sellers feedback section, if he has not been co-operative, and others are forewarned, sellers can do the same with buyers, if you can't get credited through PayPal, try seeking legal action through a small claims court, If you are from England I'm sure there has to be an equivalent of such.

You should work with paypal. If the seller cannot provide any proof that he actually shipped the item, you should be getting a full refund from him in a certain period of time. Logon to paypal and file a dispute now. Don't wait. Or call PayPal at 888-221-1161 if you live in the US.

I guess you have to report to ebay. Then, check with your local mail delivery to see whats going on. At the end of the day, you should get all your money back. It may take some time though! Sigh...

This has happened to me many times. I just file a complaint to PayPal and they have gotten me my money back every time. If you have a low rating or not a lot of feedback they might trust the seller if they have a high rating. You should be fine if you have enough proof that you paid and everything and should get a full refund.

It is possible for you to get every dime back. Have the seller provide proof to PayPal that he sent the item out. Get on the phone with the Post Office and get on the phone and speak with PayPal directly. Above all let's pray you got insurance. Good luck.

All you can do is report it to ebay. I sounds like the seller stiffed you. It happens all the time. Ebay has a disclaimer that they are not responsible for any monies lost. They just host the site. The same goes for paypal i think.

Did you check out the sellers feedback? Did you get insurance on the item? what about a tracking # for the shipment.

Unfortunately I think you're sunk.

Don't just report it to paypal, report it to e-bay as well. They'll usually take steps to resolve the issue. You should get your full refund back.

In the past I have been able to get my money back through Paypal with a dispute and have always gotten my money back....you can get harsh and threaten to really kill his ratings

Not sure of the full poloicy, but I know that if you make a claim with Paypal, they do try to refund your full amount.
