In the figure, CD=6cm, BC=8cm and 角度CBD = 角度ACD. If the area of 三角形BCD is 14cm squra , find the area of 三角形ACD.

area of triangle ACD = 18cm^2triangle ACD ~ triangle ABC
CD/BC = 6/8
= 3/4
area of triangle ACD/ triangle ABC = 9/16
Let the triangle ACD be X cm^2
16/9 X -14 = X
7/9 X = 14
X = 18
So, triangle ACD = 18 cm square

let x be the area of triangle ACD
(6/8)squra = (x/(x+14)) <-----邊比二次=面積比，當兩個圖形是相似
36/64= (x/(x+14))
9x+126=16x
x=18
so the area of triangle ACD is 18cm squra
