我唔知係唔係叫"吸",
有一個問題係Suggest a method to prevent water waves from bouncing back at the edges of the tank.

There are plenty of air holes inside a piece of sponge. When the ripples strike the sponge, the waves will disperse into various holes and their kinetic energies dissipated. This prevents the waves from reflected and is the reason why soft material like sponge can [absorb] ripples.
