Ans: y= {b(x-c)(x-e)}/{(a-c)(a-e)} + {d(x-a)(x-e)}/{(c-a)(c-e)} + {f(x-a)(x-c)}/{(e-a)(e-c)}

if x = a
y = {b(a-c)(a-e)}/{(a-c)(a-e)} + {d(a-a)(a-e)}/{(c-a)(c-e)} + {f(a-a)(a-c)}/{(e-a)(e-c)}
= b + 0 + 0
= b

if x = c
y = {b(c-c)(c-e)}/{(a-c)(a-e)} + {d(c-a)(c-e)}/{(c-a)(c-e)} + {f(c-a)(c-c)}/{(e-a)(e-c)}
= 0 + d + 0
= d

if x = e
