dreary係:1. 沈悶的,陰鬱的,令人沮喪的It was a dreary day, cold and without sunshine.那一天天氣陰鬱,既冷又沒有陽光。2. 枯燥的,令人生厭的Copying manuscripts all the time is dreary work.老是抄寫手稿是件枯燥乏味的差事。

dreary (adjective) = 枯燥的，沈悶的
因為是形容詞，所以無過去式
變化只有 drearier, dreariest
