Add hoc or add hot???

it should be "ad hoc"... which is a Latin phase meaning " for this purpose"
normally it means a specific solution designed for a particular problem

It should be "ad hoc", which means something not done regularly.

e.g. monthly report vs. ad hoc report
monthly report: a report sent to a client every month
ad hoc report: a report specially prepared upon a client's request
