3. Elasticity of arteries, does it necessarily indicate the elastic fibres , or can it indicate the thick muscular wall have elasticity?

The answer is yes. This is because, in artery there are two types of muscles: elastic muscle and smooth muscle. And only elastic muslce gives elastic nature to the artery which can help artery to withstand the high blood pressure due to the pumping action of the heart. Hence it is necessary to indicate the elastic fibres when you answer a question: why artery can withstand the blood pressure?

I think it is referring to the elastic muscular wall of the arteries
