有關LCD電視有鬼影問題?

睇 terrestrial TV (TVB & ATV) 有鬼影，睇 cable TV 冇，係你天線接收問題。cable TV 的signal是透過 cable 傳送，然後混入你大廈公共天線系統，所以無鬼影，而 terrestrial TV就係接收大氣電波，鬼影屬反射電波，因為反射電波較弱，所以形成半透明的鬼影。
如果你座大厦接收環境不理想，就出現鬼影，但電視機的調諧器 (tuner) 也對鬼影的嚴重性有影响，如果調諧器敏感，鬼影會較明顯，Philips 的 tuner 在這方面較佳。如果你公共天線輸出較強，其實可以用衰減器，但不一定work，而且衰減器不易買到。
千萬不要加放大器，放大器會將所有signal 放大，包括鬼影。澈底解決的辦法是等數碼電視，到時用LCD觀看數碼電視就沒有鬼影了。

我都講過電視機的調諧器 (tuner) 也對鬼影有影响。有啲 tuner 可 filter雜訊，令鬼影冇咁明顯。

我的經驗是無論你係乜嘢牌子嘅LCD TV，顯示任何訊號都會清啲，其中包括鬼影。用你以前部電視機睇 terrestrial TV 相信亦有鬼影，只不過不明顯而矣。唯一改善方法係等數碼電視出台。

Your old TV should be a CRT, right? Probably it is a analog TV and all signals are processing by analog circuit. The impact of 鬼影 can be minimised by filters and at the same time, CRT is not so sensitive to 鬼影 for your eyes.

However, for LCD TV, it may have some circuit to enhance the video signal and boost the sharpness of images. As such, it may also enhance the effect of 鬼影.

Try to find out whether you have enabled the sharpness to highest, if yes, turn it 'off' and adjust the contract to see if there is any improvement.

Be reminded that CRT can give you million (virtually un-limited) of grey levels while LCD panel is limited.
