in Mexico, people make pinatas for parties. Children hang them up and hit them with a stick. The pinata breaks and sweets fall out!
This is how we make the body of the pinata:

First blow up a balloon. Then mix flour and water together to make a paste. Next cut some newpapaer into strips and put them in the flour and water paste. After that stick the newspaper strips all over the balloon and wait for the balloon to dry. This how we decorate the pinata:

First stick some coloured papaer onto the pinata.Next cut a hole at the top and put sweets into the balloon. After that make two holes at each side of the pinata. Finally put some string through the holes and hang it up
