1) 互相輔助=互利共生 ( mutualism )
例子 : 地衣 ( lichen ) alga + fungus
Alga carries out photosynthesis and produces carbohydrates for fungi.
Fungus protects the alga from erosion and dessication.
It also absorbs inorganic nutrients which are essential for the growth of alga.
It helps the alga to anchore on the tree as well.
2) 互相限制
其實即competition
例如 lions and tigers compete for food,
plants compete for nutrients and water in the soil .
