有線寬頻問題

有線寬頻 does not require any setup, you can try the following command to release and renew your IP:

1. Go to "Run"
2. Type "cmd"
3. In Command Prompt, type "ipconfig", check your IP
4. If your IP is 169.xxx.xxx.xxx or 0.0.0.0, then your IP is invalid
5. You can use "ipconfig /release" to release your existing IP
6. And then, use "ipconfig /renew" to renew your IP
7. If not success, pls check your modem light, "online" light should be on.
8. If it is not on, turn it off, wait for 1-2 mins, turn it on again
9. The online light should be on, after modem restart.

If your IP cannot be renewed by yourself or your online light is not on, you should call 有線寬頻 hotline.

For your reference, if you unplug and replug your LAN cable from a PC to another PC, you should release the IP first before unplug and after replug to another PC, you need to renew the IP. Otherwise, your IP will be hosted to your old PC MAC address.
