S.H.E. 中国话

I am just wondering what is wrong with S.H.E.'s new song 中国话. Because I heard a lot of news saying that it has something to do with Chinese language or Taiwan's language or something like that. But I really don't get why. I really like the song. So I am just curious.

Because the meaning of China in Taiwan is related to Mainland China. The taiwanese do not like Mainland China. The song is promoting Mainland China's language instead of Taiwan. Such lyrics written and sung by a taiwanese music group do not get popular among the taiwanese. The taiwanese think it is marketed towards the Mainland Chinese.

Some people thought they named the song 中国话 so S.H.E could sell their album better in Mainland China and so S.H.E can earn more money.
