Savings bond 是指儲蓄債券，由財政部發出，屬於國債，在美國非常普遍。它是以面值折讓出售的。如：面值一百元的賣九十五元，但一年後兌現，即年利率五厘多啲你上面的一句中文解釋是：每投資十元在儲蓄債券可在十年後給你三十元。
