最高溶點的物質是..?

鑽石(diamond)是熔點最高的物質..
鑽石的溶點在6900 °C. Because diamond is a giant covalent compound that made up of carbon. A very strong heat( or energy) is used to break down the bonds beacuse the carbon are non-directionally linked together closely and strongly.( SORRY,,because i don't know how to use chinese to explain it.

diamond~~雖然佢好高melting pt，因為佢有giant covalent structure，each carbon atom attach to 4 other carbon atoms(sp3)

but 如果你放左隻diamond 係一個火場入面~救熄左之後，你粒diamond多數會唔見左~~點解?因為佢氣化左!!~

仲有graphite 係stable過 diamond ，點解diamond攞耐左唔會變graphite 呢?呢個問題值得比大家思考下!!!
