They both try to help their respective magical girls get more boys to like them in order to get more hearts... Falling flat on your face is more effective than tipping the classroom upside down, it seems. I'll remember that one.

Vanilla ends up getting loads of hearts, and Chocolat gets mocked by the mouse.

And that's just the opening animation! Oh I have waited for this day. How I have longed for it to arrive. Sure, my hopes were not high for this adaptation but oh my god, it's so pretty and Chocola's seiyuu is so cute I JUST CAN'T HELP MYSELF!

Ohmygodohmygodohmygod.
Right. Um. Um. Sugar Sugar Rune is a story about two little witch girls sent to the human world to collect hearts, and to decide which one of them becomes queen.
They live in an awesome amazing house with Rockin' Robin.

Chocola (who seems to have become Chocolat...?) is awesome and Vanilla has character development later on, it's just too good to be true.
The animation is so shiny (considering what kind of show this is) and the voice acting is just how I imagined it, and the random engrish is too cute.
So many pretty colours...
Oh, and they animated this scene from the first chapter which I really love.

I must admit to not liking one thing about the anime. The opening song is really really irritating and reminds me horribly of something else. My mum really likes the ending theme though, if that means anything...?
