nation和country有什麼不同?

其實nation與country這兩個字的關係十分密切，但卻完全不同
在中文的解釋中，我們很難分別，但英文的解釋卻容易明白
nation根據牛津字典是：large community of people, usually sharing a common history, language, etc. and living in a particular territory under one goverment
中文可譯作（人類的社群，通常他們有共同的歷史、語言等等，並居住在同一的地域上在一個政府之下）
而country根據牛津字典是：1)area of land that forms a politically independent unit; nation; state；所以，country可指國土、或國家；當然country還有其他的意思，如郊區等等
因此，我們可以看到，country可以包含nation，但卻強調政治上的獨立，主體。
而nation卻是專指那在同一政府下的社群，強調是人。
